Excellent!!! This author has done a great job on every book I have read so far from him. Eleanor Roosevelt, Freedom Walkers, Children of the Depression, Crazy Horse, all top notch. I would recomend everyone to read any of these books. Prior to Freedman's F.D.R. book, I have read a full length in depth biography of F.D.R. by Robert Dallek, very detailed but long. So I was very excited to read Russell Friedman's book afterwords to recap what I already knew. Friedman did a wonderful F.D.R. summary on a very long and complicated Presidential Campaign. I suggest to read his Eleanor book right after the F.D.R. Book.Great books to read out loud to a child or adult audience!

We are still reading this book. The writing style makes it easy for my daughter to stay focused. A great way to learn about one of our most famous presidents.
